Fresh Cut Flower Care

How do I care for my fresh cut stems?

Trim the stems at an angle, about 1 inch from the bottom, using clean scissors or shears. Place immediately in clean water with a floral preservative if available. Change the water every 1–2 days and re-trim stems each time. Keep away from direct sunlight, heat vents, and ripening fruit. Most stems will last 5–7 days with proper care.

How do I care for my DIY Flower Bag arrangement?

Keep the floral foam moist — add water daily directly to the foam. Trim stems at an angle before inserting. Place in a cool spot away from direct sun and heat. Mist lightly if the environment is dry. Arrangements typically last 4–6 days.

How do I care for my Pre-Arranged Cup or Bag?

Add fresh water to the cup or foam daily. Keep in a cool location out of direct sunlight. Re-trim stems if possible. Enjoy within 5–7 days for best results.

What do I do with the floral foam, cups, and bags after my flowers are done?

Our kraft paper cups and gift bags are made from recycled cardboard and can be recycled or composted when you're finished. Our floral foam, however, is petroleum-based and cannot be recycled or composted — please dispose of it in your household trash and avoid rinsing it down the drain, as it can shed microplastics into waterways. We're actively exploring sustainable foam alternatives and appreciate your patience as we grow more planet-consciously. 🌱
